You Tube can now enable us to bring real life situations into the classrooms. The you tube video I have included here would be used in Science when learning about earthquakes. Most people will never experience such a thing and this brings a real life visual of the damage that an earth quake can cause into perspective. These types of technology are valuable in teaching in the classroom.

Hi Tanya, this is a great video to bring into the classroom. I've seen an upper primary class use something similar. They had an Earthquake documentary on DVD. To help them engage the teacher used a Y Chart, asking the students to think about what it would look like, sound like and feel like. Just something to think about when using this type of tool. Great video :)
